Child Care Resource Center is excited to announce our 2017 Policy Forum, “The Road Ahead”.
Join us as we gather with parents, early childhood experts and advocates, business and political leaders, and community members to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing children and families. We will be facilitating an in-depth conversation on key issues and how we can partner together to secure needed resources to cultivate child, family and community well being. Our focus this year will be on the changing landscape as we work with a new President and Congress who have different policy priorities which could have significant impacts on many of the programs children and families in our community rely upon.
We are pleased to be joined by:
- Matthew Melmed, Executive Director of Zero to Three, who will provide us an up to the minute update on federal activities.
- Chris Hoene, Executive Director of the California Budget and Policy Center, to share the potential impact to California from the proposed changes.
- Stuart Waldman, President of the Valley Industry and Commerce Association, to talk about building alliances with businesses as supporters in our work to advocate for services critical to children and families.
Complimentary parking is provided. Please stop by the info booth to recieve your pass.
